أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تَرْعَى لِآلِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ غَنَمًا بِسَلْعٍ، فَخَافَتْ عَلَى شَاةٍ مِنْهَا أَنْ تَمُوتَ، فَأَخَذَتْ حَجَرًا فَذَبَحَتْهَا بِهِ، وَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ ذُكِرَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهَا "
Yazid ibn Harun informed us, Yahya ibn Sa`id informed us, on the authority of Nafi`, on the authority of Ibn Umar: That a woman was taking care of the family of Ka`b ibn He owned sheep with goods, and she was afraid that one of them would die, so she took a stone and slaughtered it with it, and that was mentioned to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. On him He greeted and ordered them to eat it.
