أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ نَافِعَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيُكْرِمْ ضَيْفَهُ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيُحْسِنْ إِلَى جَارِهِ، وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا أَوْ لِيَسْكُتْ "
Othman bin Muhammad told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, he said: I heard Nafi’ bin Jubayr, on the authority of Abu Shurayh Al-Khuza’i, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him honor his guest, and whoever “Whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him do good to his neighbor, and whoever believes in God and the Last Day, let him say good or remain silent.”
