أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ أَيُّوبَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، قَالَتْ : نَزَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَكَلَّفْنَا لَهُ طَعَامًا فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ هَذِهِ الْبُقُولِ، فَلَمَّا أَتَيْنَاهُ بِهِ كَرِهَهُ، وَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ :" كُلُوهُ، فَإِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ، إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ أُوذِيَ صَاحِبِي ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : إِذَا لَمْ يُؤْذِ أَحَدًا، فَلَا بَأْسَ بِأَكْلِهِ
Ali bin Abdullah told us, Sufyan bin Uyaynah told us, Ubayd Allah bin Abi Yazid told me, on the authority of his father, that Ayyub’s mother She told him, saying: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to us and we prepared food for him that contained some of these legumes. When we brought it to him, he hated it and said to his companions: “Eat it, for I am not like any of you. I fear that I will harm my companion.” Abu Muhammad said: If it does not harm anyone, there is no harm in eating it.
