Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #55006

Sadaqa bin Al-Fadl told us, Yahya bin Sa’id told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Sa’id, on the authority of his father, on the authority of my father Huraira, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Women are married for four reasons: for religion, beauty, wealth, and lineage, so you must adhere to the same religion.” May your hands be blessed.” Muhammad ibn Uyaynah informed us, on the authority of Ali ibn Mushar, on the authority of Abd al-Malik, on the authority of Ata’ ibn Abi Rabah, on the authority of Jabir, On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, with this hadith
