أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَرْعَرَةُ بْنُ الْبِرِنْدِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" مَنِ احْتَفَرَ بِئْرًا، فَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَحْفِرَ حَوْلَهُ أَرْبَعِينَ ذِرَاعًا عَطَنًا لِمَاشِيَتِهِ "
Ishaq bin Ibrahim told us, Arara bin Al-Barand Al-Sami told us, Ismail bin Muslim told us, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Mughaffal, on the authority of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever digs a well, no one has the right to dig forty around it.” A fertile arm for his livestock.”
