حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ : أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : بَيْنَا أَنَا قَاعِدٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَحَلْقَةٌ مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ قُعُودٌ إِذْ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَعَدَ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَقُمْتُ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُمْ :" لِيُبْشِرْ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ بِمَا يَسُرُّ وُجُوهَهُمْ، فَإِنَّهُمْ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ الْأَغْنِيَاءِ بِأَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا ".
قَالَ : فَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَلْوَانَهُمْ أَسْفَرَتْ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو : حَتَّى تَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مَعَهُمْ
Abdullah bin Salih told us, he said: Muawiyah told me: that Abdul Rahman bin Jubayr told him, on the authority of his father Jubayr bin Nufayr, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr said: I was sitting in the mosque and a group of poor immigrants were sitting when the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered. He said his greetings and sat down to them, so I stood up to them, and the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to them: “Let the poor immigrants receive good news of what pleases them. They will enter Paradise forty years before the rich.” He said: I saw their colors become brighter, Abdullah said. Bin Amr: I even wished to be with them.
