Hadith #55721
Muslim bin Ibrahim told us, Wahib told us, Ayoub told us, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: He made it what the Messenger of God said. May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “If I had taken someone as a friend, I would have taken him as a friend, but brothers in Islam are better.” He means Abu Bakr. He made him a father, meaning: grandfather.”
