حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ : فِي رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَوْلَى عَتَاقَةٍ، قَالَ :" مَالُهُ حَيْثُ أَوْصَى بِهِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَوْصَى، فَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ "
Ya’la told us, Ismail told us, on the authority of Amir, on the authority of Masruq: Concerning a man who died and had no freedman, he said: “His wealth is where he will bequeath And if he did not bequeath it, then it is in the treasury.”
