حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" صَلاَةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi and Abu al-Nadr told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Talha bin Musarrif, on the authority of Zubaid, on the authority of Murrah Al-Hamdani, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The middle prayer is the afternoon prayer.” Abu Al-Hamdani said: Jesus, this is a good and authentic hadith.
