Hanad narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Asim ibn Kulayb, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Aswad, on the authority of Alqamah, he said, Abd said By God, Ibn Masoud, should I not lead with you the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so he prayed and did not raise his hands except the first time. He said, and in the chapter On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Aazib. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Masoud is a hasan hadith. And more than one of the scholars among the companions of The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his followers. This is the opinion of Sufyan al-Thawri and the people of Kufa.
