Hadith #26855
Muhammad bin Ismail told me, Ibrahim bin Al-Mundhir told us, Ishaq bin Ja’far bin Muhammad told us, Abdullah bin Ja’far told me, On the authority of Othman bin Muhammad al-Akhnasi, on the authority of Sa`id al-Maqbari, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Fasting The day you fast and break the fast, the day you break your fast, and the day you sacrifice Eid al-Adha.” Abu Issa said: This is a good, strange hadith. Some of the people of Knowing this hadith, he said, “The only meaning of this is that fasting and breaking the fast are with the congregation and the greatness of the people.”
