حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ ‏ "‏ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُفْطِرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَى رُطَبَاتٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ رُطَبَاتٌ فَتُمَيْرَاتٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ تُمَيْرَاتٌ حَسَا حَسَوَاتٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَرُوِيَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُفْطِرُ فِي الشِّتَاءِ عَلَى تَمَرَاتٍ وَفِي الصَّيْفِ عَلَى الْمَاءِ ‏.‏
Muhammad bin Rafi’ told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, Ja’far bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said “The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, breaks his fast before he prays with fresh dates, and if there are not fresh dates, then with tamirat, and if there are not fresh dates, then he will eat a portion of water. “Water.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith.” Abu Issa said, “It was narrated that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to break his fast with dates in the winter.” And in the summer on the water...
