Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27724

Omar bin Hafs Al-Shaybani told us, Abdullah bin Wahb told us, Hayya told me, on the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman Al-Hubali, on the authority of my father Ayoub said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Whoever separates a mother from her child, God will separate him from his loved ones on the Day of “The Resurrection.” Abu Issa said, and in the chapter on the authority of Ali. This is a good and strange hadith. This is acted upon by the people of knowledge among the people of knowledge. The Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others disliked the distinction between captivity, between a mother and her child, and between the child and the parent, and between Brothers. Abu Issa said, and I heard Al-Bukhari saying: Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubali heard from Abu Ayyub.
