Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27766

Muhammad bin Al-Muthanna told us, Abu Al-Walid told us, Hammad bin Salamah told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, He said, Fatima came to Abu Bakr and said, “Who will inherit from you?” He said, “My family and my children.” She said, “Why should I not inherit from my father?” Abu Bakr said, “I heard.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, says, “We do not inherit.” But I support whom the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, supported, and I spend on whom the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, supported. And the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a good and strange hadith in this respect, but it was transmitted by Hammad bin Salamah and Abd al-Wahhab bin Ata’. On the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah. I asked Muhammad about this hadith, and he said, “I do not know of anyone who narrated it on the authority of Muhammad.” Bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, except Hammad bin Salamah. And Abdul-Wahhab bin Ata’ narrated on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, on the authority of Abu Salama, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, similar to the narration of Hammad bin Salama.
