حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا اعْتَمَّ سَدَلَ عِمَامَتَهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ . قَالَ نَافِعٌ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَسْدِلُ عِمَامَتَهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ . قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ الْقَاسِمَ وَسَالِمًا يَفْعَلاَنِ ذَلِكَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَلاَ يَصِحُّ حَدِيثُ عَلِيٍّ فِي هَذَا مِنْ قِبَلِ إِسْنَادِهِ .
Harun bin Ishaq Al-Hamdani told us, Yahya bin Muhammad Al-Madani told us, on the authority of Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad, on the authority of Ubaid Allah bin Omar, On the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said that when the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, covered his turban, he would lower his turban between his shoulders. Nafi’ said, and Ibn Omar drapes his turban between his shoulders. Ubaid Allah said, “I saw Al-Qasim and Salim doing that.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith.” On the authority of Ali, the hadith of Ali in this matter is not authentic through its chain of transmission.
