Al-Ansari told us, Ma’an told us, Malik told us, on the authority of Ayyub ibn Abi Tamimah, and he is Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Sirin, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, left after two prayers, and the one with two hands said to him: Has the prayer been shortened, or have you forgotten, O Messenger? Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The one with two hands has spoken the truth.” So the people said, “Yes.” So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, got up and prayed two more prayers, then He said the salaam, then said “Allahu Akbar” and prostrated like his prostration, or longer. Then he said “Allahu Akbar,” then he raised himself, then prostrated like his prostration, or longer. He said: Abu Issa, and on the authority of Imran bin Husayn, Ibn Omar, and Dhul-Yadin. Abu Issa said, and the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a good and authentic hadith. The people of knowledge differed regarding this hadith, and some of the people of Kufa said: If he spoke during prayer out of forgetfulness or ignorance or whatever, then he should repeat the prayer. Prayer, and they claimed that this hadith was before the prohibition of speaking during prayer. He said: As for Al-Shafi’i, he saw this as an authentic hadith, and he said And he said, “This is more correct than the hadith that was narrated on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, regarding a fasting person. If he eats out of forgetfulness, he does not make up for it, but rather It is a provision that God has provided. Al-Shafi’i said. They differentiated between intentionally and forgetfulness in eating for a fasting person, according to the hadith of Abu Hurairah. He said. Ahmad in the hadith of Abu Hurairah: If the imam speaks about some part of his prayer and he thinks that he has completed it, then he finds out that he has not completed it. He completes his prayer, and whoever speaks behind the imam knowing that he has the rest of the prayer to do, he must face it. He argued that the obligatory It was increased and decreased during the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. Dhu al-Yadin only spoke while he was certain of his prayer that it was It was fulfilled and it is not like this today. No one can speak about the meaning of what Dhu al-Yadin said, because today’s obligations cannot be added to or subtracted from. Ahmad said something similar to these words. And Ishaq said something similar to what Ahmad said in this chapter.
