Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28263

Bundar told us, he said: Yazid bin Harun told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin al-Isbahani, on the authority of Mujahid, and he is the son of Wardan, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, that a servant of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, fell from the stem of a palm tree and died, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “See if he has an heir.” They said, “No.” He said, “So give him to some of the people of the town.” This is a good hadith.
