Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28301

Bundar told us, he said: Abd al-Rahman bin Mahdi told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Amara bin al-Qaqa’, Abu Zur’ah bin Amr told us بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَاحِبٌ، لَنَا عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ يُعْدِي شَيْءٌ شَيْئًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ Then one of the Bedouins said, “O Messenger of God, the camel has a mangy of scabs. We will scar it and it will make all the camels scabby.” So the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Whoever is scabby?” The first is neither contagion nor zero. God created every soul and wrote its life, its provision, and its misfortunes. “Abu Issa said, and in the chapter On the authority of Abu Hurairah, Ibn Abbas, and Anas. He said: I heard Muhammad bin Amr bin Safwan Al-Thaqafi Al-Basri said: I heard Ali bin Al-Madini He says, “If I had sworn between the Rukn and the Maqam, I would have sworn that I have not seen anyone more knowledgeable than Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi.”
