Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29138

Abdul bin Humaid told us, Al-Hasan bin Musa told us, Ya’qub bin Abdullah Al-Ash’ari told us, on the authority of Ja’far bin Abi Al-Mughirah, on the authority of Sa’id Ibn Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, Omar came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger of God, I have perished. He said, “And what destroyed you?” “He said, ‘I moved my saddle tonight.’ He said, but the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not respond to him at all. He said, ‘So God revealed these things to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. The verse: (Your women are your crops, so come to your crops wherever you wish.) Come and go, and beware of the anus and menstruation. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith, and Ya’qub ibn Abdullah al-Ash’ari is Ya’qub al-Qummi.
