Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29187

Al-Hasan bin Muhammad Al-Zaafrani told us, Shababah told us, Warqa bin Omar told us, on the authority of Amr bin Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. And peace be upon him, he said: “The murdered person will bring the killer on the Day of Resurrection with his forelock and his head in his hand and his buttocks dripping with blood, saying, ‘O “My Lord, this man killed me until he brought him close to the throne.” He said, “Mention repentance to Ibn Abbas, and he recited this verse: (And whoever kills A believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell.) He said, “This verse has not been abrogated or changed, and how can he repent?” Abu Issa said, “This is a hadith.” Good It is strange, as some of them narrated this hadith on the authority of Amr ibn Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, and something similar, but did not narrate it.
