Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29650
Hadith #29650
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Abu Ahmad Al-Zubayri told us, Saad bin Aws told us, on the authority of Bilal bin Yahya Al-Absi, on the authority of Shutair bin Shikal, on the authority of his father, Shikl bin Humaid, he said, I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger of God, teach me a refuge with which I may seek refuge. He said: So he took my shoulder and said, “Say, ‘O God, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.’” Meaning his relief. He said, “This is a good, strange hadith. We do not know it except from this perspective, from the hadith of Sa’d bin Aws on the authority of Bilal bin Yahya.” .
