Al-Ansari narrated to us, Ma’an narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Taymi, that Aisha, said I was sleeping next to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I lost him during the night, so I touched him and my hand fell on his feet while he was prostrating. He says, “I seek refuge in Your approval from Your anger and in Your pardon from your punishment. I cannot praise you as you have praised yourself.” He said this. A hasan hadith that was narrated through more than one authority, on the authority of Aisha. Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Yahya bin Saeed, with this chain of narration. Towards him He added, “And I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot count Your praise.”
