Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29652

Al-Ansari narrated to us, Ma’an narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubair Al-Makki, on the authority of Tawus Al-Yamani, on the authority of Abdullah bin Abbas, that The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to teach them this supplication just as he taught them the surah from the Qur’an: “O God, I seek refuge in You from The torment of Hell and the torment of the grave, and I seek refuge in You from the temptation of the Antichrist, and I seek refuge in You from the temptation of life and death.” He said. Abu Issa, this is a good and authentic hadith.
