Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29691
Hadith #29691
Muhammad ibn Humayd al-Razi narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Musa narrated to us, on the authority of al-Amash, on the authority of Anas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by a tree with withered leaves. So he hit it with his stick, and the paper was scattered, and he said, “Praise be to God, and glory be to God, and there is no god but God, and God It is greater that it will fall from the sins of the servant just as the leaves of this tree fall.” He said, “This is a strange hadith. We do not know whether Al-A’mash heard it.” From Anas, except that he saw him and looked at him.
