Hadith #29735
Muhammad ibn Ismail narrated to us, Musa ibn Ismail narrated to us, Hafs ibn Umar al-Shinni narrated to us, Abu Umar ibn Murrah narrated to me, he said: I heard Bilal ibn Yassar bin Zayd, the servant of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. My father told me on the authority of my grandfather who heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, “Whoever said I ask forgiveness from God Almighty, besides whom there is no god, the Ever-Living, the Ever-Subsisting, and I repent to Him. He will be forgiven, even if he fled from the advance.” Abu Issa said. This is a strange hadith and we only know it from this perspective.
