Hadith #40174
قال إني سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على المنبر يقرأ هذه الآية: (وَنَادِيَ أَهْلُ النَّارِ فَقَالُوا يَا مَالِكُ! (قُلْ تَوَفَّتْنَا رَبُّكَ) (سورة الزخرف 43: 77). أي أنه كان يذكر أهوال الجحيم في خطبه. (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
He said, I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the pulpit reciting this verse of the Qur'an: "The people of hell will call (the guard of hell) and say, O Malik! (say) let your Lord cause us to die" (Surah Az-Zukhruf 43: 77). That is, he used to mention the horrors of hell in his sermons. (Bukhari, Muslim) [1]
