Musnad Ahmad — Hadith #44706

Abu Nuh told us, Qarad told us, Ikrimah bin Ammar told us, Samak Al-Hanafi Abu Zumail told us, Ibn Abbas told me, Omar bin told me Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, said: On the day of Badr, the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, looked at his companions, who were three. One hundred and one hundred and he looked at the polytheists and saw that they were a thousand and more. So the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, faced the Qiblah and then extended his hands and His robe and garment, then he said: Oh God, fulfill what you promised me, O God, if you destroy this The gang are among the people of Islam, and they will never be worshiped on earth. He said, “He continued to seek help from his Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, and to call upon Him until his cloak fell off.” Then Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, came to him, took his cloak, spread it, then pulled it behind him, then said, O Prophet of God, enough of your plea to your Lord. Indeed, He will fulfill for you what He promised you, and God Almighty revealed {When you sought help from your Lord, and He responded to you. Indeed, I will provide you with a thousand The angels side by side.} When that day came and they met, God Almighty defeated the polytheists, killing seventy of them and taking them prisoner. Seventy men, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, consulted Abu Bakr, Ali, and Omar, may God be pleased with them, and Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with them, said On his authority, O Prophet of God, these are the cousins, the clan, and the brothers. I think that you should take the ransom from them, and that would be what we took. Some of them are our strength against the disbelievers, and perhaps God will guide them and they will be a support for us. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: What do you see, son of Al-Khattab said: I said, by God, I do not see what Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, saw, but I think that you will enable me to meet so-and-so who is close to Omar. So he beheaded him, and Ali, may God be pleased with him, succeeded in controlling Aqeel and beheading him, and Hamza was able to control so-and-so his brother, so he beheaded him until God knows that there is no tolerance in our hearts for these polytheists, their leaders, their imams, and their leaders, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, May God bless him and grant him peace. What Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, said, and he did not like what I said. So he took the ransom from them, and when it was the next day, Omar said May God be pleased with him. I went to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and behold, he was sitting and Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him, and behold, they They were crying, so I said, O Messenger of God, tell me what makes you and your friend cry. If I find crying, I cry, and if I do not find crying, I cry. Because of your crying, he said, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Your companions have offered me a ransom, your torment has been offered to me less.” From this tree to a nearby tree, and God Almighty revealed: “It is not for a prophet to have captives until he has established wealth in the land” to His statement: {Had it not been for a Book from God which had preceded to touch you concerning what you took} of ransom, then the spoils were made lawful to them. And when the day of Uhud came The following year, they were punished for what they had done on the Day of Badr, including ransom money. Seventy of them were killed, and the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, fled. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, had his quads broken, the egg smashed on his head, and blood ran down his face. And God Almighty revealed {Whenever a calamity afflicts you, you have afflicted twice as much} of the verse regarding your taking the ransom.
