أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ أَفْلَحَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، قَالَ :" أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نُسَبِّحَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَنَحْمَدَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَنُكَبِّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ "، فَأُتِيَ رَجُلٌ أَوْ أُرِيَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فِي الْمَنَامِ، فَقِيلَ : أَمَرَكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ تُسَبِّحُوا اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتَحْمَدُوا ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ، وَتُكَبِّرُوا أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ.
قَالَ : فَاجْعَلُوهَا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ، خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ، وَاجْعَلُوا مَعَهَا التَّهْلِيلَ، فَأُخْبِرَ بِذَلِكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ : " افْعَلُوهَا "
Othman bin Omar told us, Hisham bin Hassan told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Sirin, on the authority of Kathir bin Aflah, on the authority of Zayd bin Thabit, he said “We were commanded to glorify God thirty-three times after every prayer, and to praise Him thirty-three times, and to say “Allahu Akbar” thirty-four times. Then a man came or A man from the Ansar was seen in a dream, and it was said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, commanded you to glorify God thirty-three times after every prayer. And you praise thirty-three times, and you say “Allahu Akbar” thirty-four times? He said: Yes. He said: Make it twenty-five, five. And twenty, and say Tahlil with it. The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was informed of that, and he said: “Do it.”
