Yahya bin Hassan told us, Sulayman bin Bilal told us, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Abi Usayd, on the authority of his grandfather, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever prays the morning prayer is in the vicinity of God, so do not fear God in His neighbourhood, and whoever prays the afternoon prayer is in the vicinity of God. In the neighborhood of God, so do not fear God in His neighbourhood.” Abu Muhammad said: If he believes and does not fulfill it, then he has betrayed and concealed himself.
