Hadith #54365
Muhammad bin Ahmad told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, He said: “God has not permitted anything unless He has permitted a prophet who sings of the Qur’an.” Abu Muhammad said: He means to be self-sufficient.
