أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ ، أَنَّ عَامِرَ بْنَ رَبِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يُسَبِّحُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الرَّاحِلَةِ، وَيُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ قِبَلَ أَيِّ وَجْهٍ تَوَجَّهَ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ "
Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Aqeel told me, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi’ah told me, On the authority of Aamir bin Rabi’ah, he said: I saw the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, praising God while he was on a camel, nodding his head before... Whichever way he turned, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not do that in the obligatory prayer.”
