أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ تِعْلَى ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ صَبْرِ الدَّابَّةِ ".
قَالَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ : لَوْ كَانَتْ دَجَاجَةً مَا صَبَرْتُهَا
Abu Asim informed us, on the authority of Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja`far, on the authority of Yazid ibn Abi Habib, on the authority of Bukayr ibn Abdullah ibn al-Ashjaj, On the authority of his father, on the authority of Ubaid bin Ta’la, on the authority of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “forbade the animal’s patience.” Abu said Ayoub: If it were a chicken, I would not be patient with it.
