Hadith #54820
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ ". فَقَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : الْمُجَثَّمَةُ : الْمَصْبُورَةُ
Affan told us, Hammad told us, Qatada told us, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade “About the corpse.” Abu Muhammad said: Al-Mujathama: Al-Masbourah.
