In this hadith it is prohibited to wish for death due to any suffering. No hardship is specified. Suffering can be worldly or hereafter. Worldly sufferings are of different types. Suffering from illness, suffering from food, mental suffering etc. Tribulation in the hereafter refers to any trial that makes it difficult to maintain one's religion and faith. Here basically worldly suffering is meant. It is not permissible to wish for death due to worldly suffering. Because we know from previous hadiths Goodness lies in worldly suffering. The life of the world is the life of testing. Here man is tested by happiness as well as by hardship. It can be seen how he gives thanks with ease How much patience in suffering. Just as God's pleasure is obtained through thanksgiving, so is it obtained through patience. If you persevere in suffering, sins are forgiven and dignity is increased. This is the great gain of the hereafter. Abandoning that gain by death wish is no Not a word of wisdom. A believer is a traveler on the path of Allah. With every step he moves closer to God. His nearness increases with every good deed. His ultimate goal is to gain closeness to God. That goal is thwarted by death. which is absolute Obstructing the goal, how can the wayfarer of Allah seek it? Because of the hardship? No suffering is permanent. The suffering that one wishes for death, Allah wills, one day it will disappear. Irshad in the Qur'an- يُسْرًا (6)} [الشرح: 5, 6] “Surely with hardship comes relief.” Elsewhere, Irshad said - "Allah will create ease after crisis." {سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا (7)} [التلاق: 7] How much worship is possible on that day of happiness when the sufferings are over! the world The harvest field of the hereafter. How many harvests of the hereafter can be woven here if we live with ease. How much merit is possible to accumulate? And by wishing for death, the opportunity to gain savings in the Hereafter is ignored. It is not a commendable task; Rather it is from one side It also implies disinterest in the welfare of the hereafter. Therefore, it is forbidden to wish for death in the hadith. Moreover, it shows impatience with danger and displeasure with Allah's judgment, which is completely impermissible. Moreover, life is one Ni'amat It is reprehensible to desire the abolition of Ni'amat. One hadith Irshad said- «لا يتمنى احدكم الموت, ولا يدع به من قبل ان ذيتيهه, انه ثيد مت احدكم انقطع عملهه, ونه لا يزيد المعمن عمره إلا خيرا» 'None of you should wish for death before it comes and make dua for it. Because death If the act is closed. And the life of the believer only increases his welfare. There is another hadith - لا يتمنى احدكم الموت يما محسنا فلعله يزداد, و يما مسيء قلعله يستعيب 'None of you will wish for death. If he is virtuous, (if alive) more virtuous deeds are expected can do And if he is evil-doing, he will repent and correct himself. These hadiths show that longevity is always beneficial for a believer. Because the longer the life span, the more virtue is preserved. Long life as such The person becomes more virtuous. So there is a hadith - خياركم من طال عمرا و خشن عمله "The best among you is the one whose life is long and whose deeds are good." Yes, if the desire to die is for the purpose of preserving the religion and faith or for the sake of meeting Allah. And if it is for the purpose of enjoying the taste of His presence, it is permissible. Many of Sahaba Kiram have wished to die like this. But in that case, 'Oh God! Give me death' or 'O Allah! Don't keep me alive is a common death wish not right Rather, du'a should be made conditionally as taught in the hadeeth. That is to say, O Allah! As long as it is good for me to live, keep me alive and when it is good for me to die, give me death. Living well means living with religion and faith. Such living is certainly desirable. And for death to be good means there is a fear that faith and deeds will be damaged if you live. In this situation, death with faith is good. When in the country If there is no environment to protect faith and deeds, evil environment spreads all around, multi-faceted fitna calls for unbelief, as a result, it becomes difficult to protect faith and deeds, naturally then death is better than living. There is a hadeeth - And if امراء كم شراركم و أغنياءكم بخلاكم و اموركم إلى نصايكم فيظن الذرس خير لكم من ذهرها "When your leaders are lowly people, your rich are miserly and your authority is in the hands of women, then the underground is better for you than the surface." One should not desire death for anything, no matter the suffering. It is the duty of the believer to be satisfied with Allah's judgment. b. When suffering becomes miserable, make dua as taught in this hadith. Source of explanation: _ Riyazu Salihin (Translated by Maulana Abul Bashar Muhammad Saiful Islam Hafi.)
