حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ كَالضِّلَعِ إِنْ ذَهَبْتَ تُقِيمُهَا كَسَرْتَهَا وَإِنْ تَرَكْتَهَا اسْتَمْتَعْتَ بِهَا عَلَى عِوَجٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَسَمُرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏
Abdullah bin Abi Ziyad narrated to us, Yaqoub bin Ibrahim bin Saad narrated to us, my nephew Ibn Shihab narrated to us, on the authority of his uncle, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “A woman is like a rib. If you go to straighten her, you will break her. You left it and enjoyed it crookedly.” He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Abu Dharr, Samurah, and Aisha. Abu Issa said the hadith of Abu Hurairah It is a good, authentic, and strange hadith from this perspective.
