Hadith #27762
Hanad told us, Abu Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Abi Khaled, on the authority of Qays bin Abi Hazim, on the authority of Jarir bin Abdullah, that The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, sent a company to Khath’am, and some people remained in a state of prostration, and the killing was quick to spread among them. This reached the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. So he ordered them to be reasonable and said, “I am innocent of every Muslim who resides among the polytheists.” They said, “O Messenger of God, and why did he say?” You will not see their fire.”
