Hadith #28192
Ali bin Hajar told us, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, on the authority of Amara bin Ghaziyah, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said “Whoever is given a gift and finds it, let him reward it, and whoever does not find it, let him reward it. For whoever praises has given thanks, and whoever conceals it has disbelieved, and whoever He took on what was not given to him, as if he were wearing a false garment.” Abu Issa said: This is a good, strange hadith, and it is on the subject of Asma’, my father’s daughter. Bakr and Aisha. The meaning of his saying “and whoever conceals it has disbelieved.” He says he has denied that blessing.
