Abu Kurayb told us, Al-Muharbi told me, on the authority of Ammar bin Saif Al-Dhabi, on the authority of Abu Ma’an Al-Basri, on the authority of Ibn Sirin, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Seek refuge in God from the pit of sadness.” They said, “O Messenger of God, and what is the pit of sadness?” He said. A valley in Hell from which Hell seeks refuge a hundred times every day. We said, O Messenger of God, and whoever enters it? He said, “The hypocritical readers.” “By their deeds.” He said, “This is a good and strange hadith.”
