Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27297

Abu Salamah told us, Yahya bin Khalaf told us, Bishr bin Al-Mufaddal told us, on the authority of Khaled Al-Hadha’, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said If I wanted to say, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, but he said the Sunnah is that if a man marries his wife’s virginity, he stays with her. Seven, and if a married man marries his wife, he stays with her three. He said, and on the authority of Umm Salamah. Abu Issa said the hadith of Anas. It is a good and authentic hadith. Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated it on the authority of Ayyub, on the authority of Abu Qilaba, on the authority of Anas, but some of them did not narrate it. He said: And work on This is according to some people of knowledge. They said, “If a man marries a woman who is a virgin to his wife, he stays with her for seven days and then divides it between them after that.” Justly, and if a married man marries his wife, he stays with her three times. This is the view of Malik, Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq. And he said Some of the scholars among the followers said: If a virgin marries his wife, he stays with her three times, and if he marries a married man, he stays with her Two nights. The first saying is more correct.
