Hadith #27179
Suwayd bin Nasr told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, on the authority of Hammad bin Salamah, on the authority of Abu Sinan, he said: I buried my sons Sinan and Abu Talha Al-Khawlani was sitting on the edge of the grave. When I wanted to leave, he took my hand and said, “Shall I not bring you good tidings, O Abu Sinan?” I said, “Yes.” He said: Al-Dahhak bin Abdul-Rahman bin Azab told me on the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If a servant’s son dies, God tells his angels, “You have taken the child of my servant.” They will say, “Yes.” He will say, “You have taken the fruit of his heart.” They will say, “Yes.” He says, “What did my servant say?” They say, “He thanked you and was restored.” Then God says, “Build a house for my servant in Paradise and call it the House of Praise.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith.
