Hadith #28815
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Dawud told us, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Samak bin Harb, he said: I heard Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Ibn Masoud, speaking on the authority of his father, said: I heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “May God bless a man who heard something from us and conveyed it as He heard, for perhaps someone who conveys the message is more aware than the listener.” Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith, and it was narrated by Abd al-Malik ibn Umair on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman bin Abdullah.
