Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29269

Bundar told us, Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Abu Amir Al-Aqdi told us, he is Abd al-Malik bin Amr, Sulayman bin Sufyan told us, on the authority of Abdullah bin Dinar, on the authority of Ibn Omar, on the authority of Omar bin Al-Khattab, he said when this verse was revealed: (Among them is wretched and happy) I asked The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and I said, O Prophet of God, what we are working on is something that has been completed or on something that has not been completed. He said, “Rather, on something that has been completed.” It has been completed and the pens have flowed with it, O Omar, but each is facilitated for what was created for him.” This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from this perspective. We do not know it except from the hadith of Abd al-Malik ibn Amr.
