Yahya bin Musa, and more than one person, told us. They said, Omar bin Yunus told us, Ikrimah bin Ammar told us, Yahya bin Abi Kathir told us, Abu Salamah told us, he said: I asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her, with what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would begin his prayer when he got up at night. She said that when he got up at night, he would open his prayer and say, “O God, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, and Knower of The unseen and the witnessed. You judge between Your servants concerning that in which they differed. Guide me to the truth concerning that in which they differed, by Your permission. You guide whomever You will to a straight path.” He said, “This is a good and strange hadith.”
