أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهِ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" أَوْتِرْ بِخَمْسٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَبِثَلَاثٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ، فَبِوَاحِدَةٍ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَأَوْمِئْ إِيمَاءً ".
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهِ عَنْهُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَحْوَهُ
Yazid bin Harun told us, Sufyan bin Husayn told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ata’ bin Yazid Al-Laythi, on the authority of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: “Put the Witr prayer with five, and if you are not able, then with three. You can, Then with one, and if you are not able, then nod.” Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Ata’ ibn Yazid Al-Laythi, on the authority of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, something similar
