Hadith #26448
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Sa’id bin Jubayr, and Tawus, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was He teaches us the Tashahhud just as he teaches us the Qur’an, and he used to say, “Blessed greetings, good prayers, peace be upon God.” Upon you, O Prophet, and God’s mercy and blessings, peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of God. I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad The Messenger of God. “Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is a good, strange, and authentic hadith. And Abd al-Rahman bin Humaid narrated Al-Rawasi: This hadith on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr is similar to the hadith of Al-Layth bin Saad. Ayman bin Nabul Al-Makki narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, and it is not preserved. Al-Shafi’i went to the hadith of Ibn Abbas regarding the tashahhud.
