Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27350

So she informed him, but the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, remained silent until the Qur’an was revealed: (Divorce is twice, then withholding with kindness or releasing with kindness.) Aisha said. So people resumed divorce in the future, whether he had been divorced or who had not. Abu Kurayb told us, Abd told us. Allah bin Idris, on the authority of Hisham bin Urwa, on the authority of his father, similar to this hadith in its meaning, but he did not mention in it the authority of Aisha. Abu said Jesus, and this is more correct than the hadith of Ya’la bin Shabib.
