حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ السَّمَّانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي سَفَرٍ فِي لَيْلَةٍ مُظْلِمَةٍ فَلَمْ نَدْرِ أَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةُ فَصَلَّى كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنَّا عَلَى حِيَالِهِ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا ذَكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَنَزَلَ: (فَأَيْنَمَا تُولُّوا فَثَمَّ وَجْهُ الله) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ لَيْسَ إِسْنَادُهُ بِذَاكَ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَشْعَثَ السَّمَّانِ . وَأَشْعَثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ . وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا . قَالُوا إِذَا صَلَّى فِي الْغَيْمِ لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ ثُمَّ اسْتَبَانَ لَهُ بَعْدَ مَا صَلَّى أَنَّهُ صَلَّى لِغَيْرِ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِنَّ صَلاَتَهُ جَائِزَةٌ . وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Waki’ narrated to us, Ash’ath bin Saeed Al-Samman narrated to us, on the authority of Asim bin Ubaid Allah, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabi’ah, on the authority of his father, said: We were with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on a journey on a dark night, and we did not know where the qiblah was, so everyone prayed. A man from among us was in a state of affairs, and when we woke up, we mentioned that to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he revealed: (So wherever you turn, there is the face of God.) Abu Issa said. This is a hadith whose chain of transmission is not similar to that. We do not know of it except from the hadith of Ash’ath Al-Samman. And Ash’ath bin Saeed Abu Al-Rabi’ Quail is doubled in the hadith. Most of the people of knowledge have held this view. They said: If he prays in the clouds, facing other than the qiblah, then it becomes clear After he prayed, he said that he prayed in a direction other than the Qiblah, so his prayer is permissible.
