Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27458

Hanad narrated to us, Abdah narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Ibn Umar, on the authority of Zayd bin Thabit, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade Concerning muhaqaalah and muzabanah, except that he gave permission to the owners of the slaves to sell them for a price similar to their value. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Ubayy Hurairah and Jabir. Abu Issa said the hadith of Zayd bin Thabit. This is how Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated this hadith.
