Hadith #28696
Suwayd bin Nasr told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, Ibn Lahi’ah told us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, on the authority of Dawud bin Amer bin Saad bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “If only a fingertip of what is in Paradise seemed Everything between the heavens and the earth would be adorned for him, even if a man from the people of Paradise were to rise up and his bracelets would appear to blot out the light of the sun as The sun obscures the light of the stars.” Abu Issa said: This is a strange hadith. We do not know of it with this chain of transmission except from the hadith of Ibn Lahi’ah. Yahya bin Ayyub narrated this hadith on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Habib, and he said on the authority of Omar bin Saad bin Abi Waqqas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
