Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29240
Hadith #29240
Sufyan bin Waki’ told us, Ibn Numayr told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Ibrahim bin Muhajir, on the authority of Abbad bin Yusuf, on the authority of Abu Burdah bin Abu Musa, on the authority of his father, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “God has sent down to me two trusts for my nation: (And God is not That He may punish them while you are among them) (And Allah would not punish them while they were seeking forgiveness.) If I proceed, I will leave among them seeking forgiveness until the Day “The Resurrection.” This is a strange hadith. Ismail bin Ibrahim bin Muhajir is weakened in the hadith.
